This special private retreat is for a very special bookclub of ladies who have been meeting for 30 years!


Get ready to cosy up with us in Winter, over 3 nights in the beatiful Blue Mountains in Sydney NSW.


Retreat from the noise and distraction of your daily life and join us in Katoomba where all you have to do is read and relax. With us, you can let the outside world melt away for a weekend all about you and your books.


Dates: 9th-12th of May 2025

Rooms: Rooms are available as a single or a double booking

Our property for this retreat is hostoric Glenella in Blackheath. Glenella Guesthouse is a NSW state listed heritage property and is also part of the important heritage listed Govetts Leap Road streetscape. Glenella is the perfect accommodation venue for Groups. Glenella is a charming heritage listed building with stylish living areas and comfortable bedrooms. Glenella was previously run as a Guesthouse, but is now only available as an exclusive rental. It has been recently refurbished and can now accommodate up to 30 guests in 15 rooms. Glenella has a chef style commercial fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with fireplace, various comfortable sitting areas and a sunny verandah overlooking the garden. Free wi-fi is provided.The Blackheath village with its wide range of quality café’s is a short stroll away. And the Blackheath train station in only 5min walk from Glenella.
